The head of Mordovia met with the new leaders of RM Rail. Konstantin Danilov, President of RM Rail Holding, and Vitaliy Starikov, RM Rail General Director, who superseded Pavel Ovchinnikov in this post, were introduced to Vladimir Volkov. They discussed the railcar manufacturers’ performance results in the 1st quarter of 2020, the investment program implementation, as well as measures to prevent coronavirus infection on sites.

RM Rail, a leading Russian freight rolling stock manufacturer, is headed by Vitaliy Starikov. He superseded Pavel Ovchinnikov, who held this post since 2012.

RM Rail has started a charitable assistance program to combat the spread of coronavirus infection. Its first recipients were Ruzayevsky Central District Hospital and Growth Youth Public Organization of Ruzayevsky District.

VKM-Steel, a foundry incorporated into RM Rail, one of the largest railcar manufacturers in Russia, completed Phase One of production modernization with the launch of a new electric arc furnace for steel melting.

RM Rail has certified the box car model 11-1268. The certificate ascertains the compliance with the Custom Union Technical Regulation requirements and authorizes serial production of the rolling stock for a five-year period.

RM Rail have presented to their customers the latest hopper cars for transportation of bulky goods (models 19-1273 (-01) and 19-1274 (-01)). They are manufactured by Ruzkhimmash.

RM Rail Company organized the 68th meeting of the Сarriage Сommission of the CIS Member States Council on Railway Transport, which was held on September 10-12 in Saransk. The meeting was attended by representatives of 13 states, including CIS, the Baltic countries and Georgia.

The company RM Rail launched the mass production of 80-foot flatcars for the transport of large containers (model 13-1284). The flatcar is certified in accordance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union.

RM Rail, one of the largest manufacturers of freight cars in Russia, has renewed the certificate of conformity of the hopper car for transporting hot sinter, pellets and other bulk cargo (model 19-1241). The document complies with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union.

Pavel Ovchinnikov, RM Rail General Director and Sergey Kobzev, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of JSC Russian Railways, signed a cooperation agreement. The document has been signed today in the framework of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.
