They discussed prospects for expanding Abakanvagomash capacities, creating new jobs, government support for initiatives and plans for advancing competitiveness. In the next two years, the enterprise intends to increase its production capacity 2.5 times, up to 7.5 thousand containers a year.

President of RM Rail Holding Konstantin Danilov met with Deputy Head of Khakassia Irina Voinova. The parties discussed the prospects for business development on the territory of the republic. Konstantin Danilov said that in the next two years RM Rail plans significant capital expenditures to upgrade the enterprise for potential output of 7.5 thousand containers per year. The topic of creating a large enterprise for the repair of rolling stock in Khakassia is also under consideration.

Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, visited the foundry complex of VKM-Steel (part of RM Rail, the leading manufacturer of freight rolling stock in Russia). The enterprise specializes in production of castings for the railway, automotive, oil and gas industries, and agriculture. Its product portfolio includes over 500 items made in various grades of carbon and alloy steel, gray nodular cast iron, alloyed cast iron.

Interim Head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov, as part of his business trip to Ruzaevsky district, visited the Ruzkhimmash plant where he had a detailed look at the main production sites and product range of the enterprise.

RM Rail Abakanvagonmash, a part of RM Rail, has recertified 1AAA size 40ft general purpose container by improving its usability. The improvement was attested in appropriate statement of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
