RM Rail VKM Steel (Saransk, Republic of Mordovia) is a modern high-tech metallurgical complex, the largest in Russia. Specializes in the production of foundry products for the railway, automotive, oil and gas industries, and special machinery.

The nomenclature includes more than 600 types of large, medium and small castings from carbon and alloy steels, gray high-strength alloyed cast iron.

Large castings for wagons is produced using the vacuum-film molding technology. Unique side frame design for the 23.5 tf bogie provides an increased fatigue safety factor. Serial production of an innovative 25 tf bogie has been mastered. Process solutions applied in its production allow us to confidently guarantee a service life of up to 32 years and the first repair upon 500,000 km or 6 years.

According to the results of 2023, the RM Rail VKM-Steel plant became a laureate of the Russian Government Quality Award 2023; this is the highest state award based on the business processes' quality and efficiency diagnostics.
