VKM-Steel is a laureate of the Russian Government's quality award
Nikolay Chalov, Managing Director of the enterprise, received an award presented by Denis Manturov, Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
RM Rail's metallurgical asset, the VKM-Steel, was recognized as a laureate of the Russian Government's quality contest in 2023. The award ceremony took place on May 6 in Moscow; the awards were presented by Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade.
More than 400 enterprises and organizations from mechanical engineering, metallurgy, health care, etc. participated in the contest. Roskachestvo experts conducted a comprehensive assessment of business processes according to nine criteria, including leadership, policy and strategy, personnel, products, services, and key results. This is not the first time VKM-Steel takes part in this contests – the company has already been recognized a diploma holder in 2021. The experience and feedback gained enabled the company to raise the bar to become one of the 12 winners.

We would like to remind you that this year, Ruzkhimmash, the flagship asset of RM Rail, also became a diploma holder of the contest.

"The quality award of the Government of the Russian Federation is a dynamic tool for improving the management of Russian enterprises. All participating organizations have the opportunity to audit their management system and receive expert evaluation and recommendations for improving individual areas of work.
