RM Rail certifies a hopper wagon for bulk cargo based on its own 25-tf bogie
The model advantages are its innovative bogie with a 25-tf load capacity and up to 32 years extended service life
RM Rail, Russia's leading manufacturer of freight rolling stock, has received the Certificate of Conformity to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (Technical Regulations of the Customs Union) for the hopper wagon of model 19-1273-02 designed to transport mineral fertilizers and other bulk cargoes.
The key differences of the new product from basic model 19-1273 are its innovative bogie 18-9891 with a 25-tf axle load, developed by the Company on its own; and an increased service life of up to 32 years. Otherwise, the hopper wagon retained its characteristics: payload of 77 tons, body volume of 107 cubic meters, and 4 loading/6 unloading hatches. The body features an internal protective coating to protect the wagon from aggressive mineral fertilizers during the operation.
Receiving the certificate gives a start to serial production of a hopper wagon of model 19-1273-02. The order portfolio has already been formed for the coming months.
