RM Rail gets a certificate for its thermos wagon

A certificate of conformity with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union was obtained for isothermal thermos wagon for transportation of perishable goods model 16-1239.

Its key advantages are increased payload of 64 tons (+ 4–6 tons higher than counterparts), increased body volume of 164 cubic meters (+19–21 cubic meters) and increased floor area of 56.6 cubic meters (+4.2–6.1 cubic meters). The wagon capacity is 51 pallets. The service life is 25 years. The thermos wagon provides the required temperature for up to ten days due to the use of stainless steel and a special insulating compound. The company plans to bring the new model to the market this year.

The thermos wagon became the first certified model in RM Rail's line of isothermal products. This year, the company plans to present a self-contained refrigerated wagon and a refrigerated container of 1AAA size.
