RM Rail Wins National Occupational Safety Award

RM Rail’s key asset, the Ruzkhimmash rail car manufacturing plant, has taken first place in the federal contest Best Large Business Organization in Occupational Health and Safety. The results were announced at a gala event during the 10th Anniversary All-Russian Labor Safety Week in Sochi. The award was presented by Anton Kotyakov, Russia’s Minister of Labor and Social Protection.

This year, RM Rail achieved a double victory. Alongside the top prize for Best Large Business Organization in Occupational Safety, the Ruzkhimmash trade union was also recognized as the best among organizations with more than 1,000 employees.

Notably, the rail car builders succeeded VKM-Service, another RM Rail enterprise, which won the same award last year. Ruzkhimmash's double victory highlights the company’s consistent and effective work in labor protection, employee rights, and workplace safety.

The competition continues to grow in scale, the organizers note. This year’s edition attracted 1,143 applications from 336 organizations across various industries, including Gazprom, Rusal, and Russian Railways.
