RM Rail Celebrates Company Day and Machine Builder’s Day

RM Rail, Russia's leading manufacturer of freight rolling stock, celebrated Machine Builders Day and Company Day. A ceremonial event was attended by Artem Zdunov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia; Sergey Vdovin, Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia; Maksim Tevs, CEO of RM Rail; and other distinguished guests.

The company has approached the professional holiday with good results. Despite challenges in the industry, RM Rail’s enterprises continue to operate steadily. Over the first eight months of the year, the company maintained its leading position in both specialized and general-purpose rail car production, meeting nearly all business plan targets.

RM Rail continues to implement large-scale projects for the development and production of innovative rolling stock, expand its diversification initiatives, and increase investment volumes, supported in part by the Industrial Development Fund and the leadership of the Republic of Mordovia. The VKM Steel plant became the first in the region and in Russian ferrous metallurgy to receive approval from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for a special investment contract (SPIC 1.0) project, enabling the launch of a world-class precision casting facility. At Ruzkhimmash, several projects aimed at improving operational efficiency are being considered. The gala event also recognized the company’s efforts in supporting families with children, improving workplace safety, and hiring and developing personnel—achievements that have earned high praise from industry peers, including international representatives.
