Vitaliy Starikov is at the head of RM Rail

RM Rail, a leading Russian freight rolling stock manufacturer, is headed by Vitaliy Starikov. He superseded Pavel Ovchinnikov, who held this post since 2012.

Along with maintaining succession, the new leader intends to be focused on production diversification, higher manufacturability, and market extension.

Implementation of strategic projects aimed at developing special-purpose rolling stock model range, increasing product life cycle, using non-conventional materials and an innovative axle load will continue under the leadership of Vitaliy Starikov. The head of the company will also concentrate efforts on achieving shorter design and lead times.

Vitaliy Starikov graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering and the Institute of Economics and Crisis Management. He has held senior positions in organizations of Russian Railways, NPK Uralvagonzavod JSC, Rosatom State Corporation.
