The RM Rail company is entitled to modernize freight wagons

"VKM-Service", the car-repair entity of the RM Rail company received the certificate allowing to perform upgrade of freight rolling stock.

The company one of the first in Russia received the state certificate which grants the right to modernize rail cars. The order of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim for which the VKM-Service repair shop will re-equip cars for styrene (model 15-1280-01) for transportation of chemical freights became the first project "RM Rail" on upgrade of equipment. Cars were produced in 2012 by the entity of "RM Rail" - Ruzkhimmash.

Wagons will be equipped with drain devices with three degrees of protection providing complete hermeticity of a copper during the transporting and storage of products. The nomenclature of the modernized model, at the request of the client, will include pentadiene, pyrolytic pitch, propylene trimmers, etc.

Ravil Syubaev, managing director of «VKM-Service»:

- We already set to work on re-equipment of the first batch of wagons for "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" and we expect to execute the contract in the first half of 2016. In parallel we negotiatiate with potential customers on other projects of upgrade of railway vehicles
