RM Rail signed a cooperation agreement with Research and Development Center NVC "Vagony" and PGUPS (St.Petersburg State Transport University)

RM Rail, one of the leading manufacturer of freight rolling stock in Russia, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Research and Development Center Vagony and the St.Petersburg State Transport University . The signing took place today within the framework of the XV international science and technology conference "Rolling stock of the XXI century (ideas, requirements, projects)" in St. Petersburg. The agreement is aimed at expanding research and innovation infrastructure, as well as improving human resources.

The agreement provides for cooperation in the development of the latest generation of freight rolling stock. The interests of the parties are primarily associated with the creation of a bogie with a speed of up to 140 km / h and a fleet of wagons with swap bodies. Responsibility for testing and putting products into production has been secured.

The second important direction, which is reflected in the memorandum, is the organization of professional training of personnel. In particular, PGUPS students will be able to undergo practical training at the enterprises of "RM Rail", participate in solving real production problems and, in case of successful defense of their graduation projects, find a job.
