RM Rail will supply over 1000 cars to cement producers in Russia and the CIS

RM Rail has concluded contracts for the manufacture of over 1000 hopper cars for cement (model 19-1217). Deliveries are scheduled until September 2019 and are intended for the largest customers in Russia and Kazakhstan.

RM Rail will supply over 1000 hopper cars for transportation of cement and cement products. Transactions for the Russian market are secured by participation of Gazprombank Leasing JSC and VEB-Leasing JSC. In the CIS, the customer is the largest manufacturer of Kazakhstan. Deliveries must be completed by September 2019.

Model 19-1217 has an innovative body structure. It represents the optimal ratio of carrying capacity and volume, taking into account the bulk density of cement. The teardrop shape increases the useful use of the body volume by up to 95%, and the inner smooth walls prevent the load from sticking, which speeds unloading. It is possible to simultaneously lock all loading hatches and seal them with a single seal.

Hopper-car carrying capacity is 73 tons, tare weight min/max – 19.4/21 t, body volume: total volume – 60 cub.m., axle load is 23.5 tf, service life – 26 years.
