RM RAIL entered into a contract with the transport-forwarding company Trans Alliance-Center to supply 150 boxcars for the transportation of passenger cars (model 11-1291).

RM RAIL will supply Trans Alliance-Center with 150 boxcars, model 11-1291, for the transportation of passenger cars, under the contract with the operator of freight transportation. Autorack car is included in the list of innovative rolling stock, with state subsidies provided for its purchase.

The maximum loading length of the car for the market - 25.34 m - allows the transportation of fourteen cars, which exceeds the capacity of analogous autorack cars by two cars.

Owing to the removable top tier, the new car is suitable for transportation of vans and other large equipment. The closed body protects the freight, and the Double Power bogie 18-9801 due to the improved design of the side frame eliminates damage risk on route.

Carrying capacity for these models is 25 tonnes, tare mass min/max-44-46 tons, length along the coupling axes - 26 720 mm, clearance - 1-T.
