RM Rail Engineering received GOST R ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System certification

RM Rail Engineering (part of RM Rail,  a leading freight rolling stock manufacturer in Russia) has successfully passed a certification audit and confirmed the compliance of its quality management system with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2015 in the ROSATOMREGISTER Certification System.

Auditors of the Russian Register certification association assessed the compliance of RM Rail engineering center quality management system with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2015 (ISO 9001:2015), the requirements of the organization’s internal documentation within the subject scope of certification. They reviewed the design, process and quality management system documents in effect at the enterprise and gave a high score to RM Rail Engineering internal audits, which meet the stringent standards of Rosatom.

The obtained Certificate of Compliance expands the engineering center capabilities in rendering services of R&D, manufacturing process design, prefeasibility study, non-state expertise of design documentation, etc. The Certificate attests the right to design equipment for facilities using nuclear energy. The next step for the company is to obtain the appropriate license.
